The Fanny Allen Corporation is a member of Covenant Health, a New England based Catholic health system. The Corporation retains its Catholic heritage and values in the tradition of the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph who founded Fanny Allen Hospital, Hotel Dieu in 1894 with a special mission to care for the most vulnerable in the community.

Since 1999, the Fanny Allen Corporation has allocated over $4 million in grants to Vermont nonprofit organizations that reflect the compassion of Christ in their service to the poor and whose programs enhance the quality of life for people who are economically disadvantaged and homeless, and improve the health and well-being of families, children and the elderly.
