I was hungry and you gave me to eat. I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless and you took me in. (Matthew 25:35-36)
Fanny Allen Corporation continues the mission of our founders, the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph (RHSJ), by allocating funds to nonprofit organizations in Vermont that reflect the compassion of Christ in their service to the most vulnerable people – people who are sick, poor, disabled and elderly.
Since 1999, the Fanny Allen Foundation has allocated $4 million in grants to nonprofit organizations in Vermont that serve people who are sick and poor. To apply for a grant please review Funding Guidelines and Grant Process.
Fanny Allen is committed to collaborating with other funders, nonprofit organizations and government agencies to collectively address the complex issues contributing to the rise in poverty in our community, including the increasing cost of housing, healthcare, transportation and basic needs. For more information about the types of organizations we fund, please review Grant History.
