The Fanny Allen Foundation is a member of Covenant Health, a New England based Catholic health system. The Foundation retains its Catholic heritage and values in the tradition of the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph. Since 1999, the Fanny Allen Foundation has allocated over $4 million in grants to Vermont nonprofit organizations that reflect the compassion of Christ in their service to the poor and whose projects target enhanced quality of life for the economically disadvantaged, improved health of families, children and/or elderly through direct services, and the homeless. Grant decisions are made by an extremely dedicated group of Vermont residents who make up the Fanny Allen Foundation Board of Directors: Michael Tomkowicz, Board Chair; Laura Warren, Secretary; David Jillson; Michael New; Nadine Scibek; Heidi L. St. Peter; and Christine Werneke.
